About "Nonprofit Blogs"

In the process of writing articles for my blog BlogTips for Nonprofit, I stumbled upon many blogs about development, aid and humanitarian issues written both by individuals, organisations, companies, universities, scholars and researchers or project teams.

They are project blogs, or used for public relations -slash- advocacy or a tool to create a social community amongst practitioners. I kept track of them on my personal blog until I literally ran out of space.

When the blogroll got over 150 blogs I created Nonprofit Blogs to help me keeping track on what’s up in the nonprofit social media at a moment’s notice. I made it public as you might find it useful too.

Nonprofit Blogs is based on a growing blogroll of hundreds of blogs I collected over the past two years (Check the full list on Delicious). The RSS feeds from each site are mashed together and processed using different tools. I automatically delete duplicates, non-relevant posts and tweak all articles to make them easier to read in a digest format. Nonprofit Blogs is updated every hour.

With the same interval, I tweet the headings of the latest posts via @NonProfitBlogs.

You like what you see? Have a look at my other sites.

Enjoy!
